PARTNERSHIP
SOCCER IS OUR PASSION. Since 1991, the River City Rangers Soccer Club has offered fun and competitive youth soccer programs for the Austin community. In celebration of their 20th Anniversary, the River City Rangers SC has partnered with Virgo Sports in order to actively spread the beautiful game to local and international soccer programs. Through the partnership, the River City Rangers SC and Virgo Sports will collect new and gently used soccer items for Virgo Sports' FEET-4-FEET sports equipment donation program. All collected items will then be distributed to help support and grow local and international soccer programs. Virgo Sports' Feet-4-Feet soccer equipment donation program serves as a platform for young soccer players to engage in community service in way that's fun and relates to their interest in soccer.
To date, Virgo Sports has received and donated hundreds of new and gently used items to individuals and soccer communities both domestically and internationally. With the help of the RIVER CITY RANGERS SC, we at Virgo Sports look forward to PASSING THE GAME AROUND THE WORLD!
PROGRAMS
The River City Rangers and Virgo Sports would like to invite all River City Ranger SC youth soccer members to participate in the 2011 "RANGERS CHALLENGE". Participating teams will compete in the challenge by collecting new or gently used soccer equipment that will be donated to local charities. Each group of teams within an age group will compete with one another to see which team can collect the most soccer items. All participating teams will collect equipment during the week of Boot Camp and bring all collected items to the CLUB PARTY on AUGUST 19, 2011 so items can be counted. At the end of the Camp Party there will be awards given to the teams that collect the most equipment!!!!
RANGERS CHALLENGE
1. WHEN: August 19, 2011 ALDC
2. WHERE: St. Louis Soccer Fields during Club Party.
3. WHAT: Donate old RCR SC uniforms, shoes, shorts, shirts, socks, balls and other playable equipment.
4. WHY: Help support and grow the beautiful game of soccer in Austin.
