PARTNERSHIP
SOCCER IS OUR PASSION. In 2009, the Lonestar Soccer Club partnered with Virgo Sports in order to actively spread the beautiful game to local and international soccer programs. Through the partnership, Lonestar SC and Virgo Sports will collect new and gently used items for Virgo Sports' FEET-4-FEET sports equipment donation program. All collected items will then be distributed to help support and grow local and international soccer programs.
To date, Virgo Sports has received and donated hundreds of new and gently used items to individuals and soccer communities both domestically and internationally. With the help of LONESTARS SC, we at Virgo Sports look forward to PASSING THE GAME AROUND THE WORLD!
PROGRAMS
In 2010, Virgo Sports and Lonestar SC will further their commitment to developing the beautiful game around the world by providing equipment assistance to athletes and soccer programs that were affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010.
In the late summer/early Fall when new uniforms are delivered, LSC will have several drop off locations in North and South Austin where old uniforms and other new/gently used soccer equipment can be donated. All equipment and clothing will be donated to soccer players in Haiti. Please watch the website for additional details on the "Soccer 4 Haiti" drive.
LONESTARSC DONATIONS
1. WHEN: 1) August 8-25, 2010 ALDC 2) ALDC Soccer Tournament (T&C, NEMP,SCP)
2. WHERE: North and South Soccer USA locations
3. WHAT: Donate old Lonestar SC uniforms, shoes, shorts, shirts, socks, balls and other playable equipment.
4. WHY: Help support and rebuild the beautiful game of soccer in Haiti.
